CertiDigital continues to take steps towards achieving the great challenges for this year 2023. Progress has been made in the design of the CertiDigital Platform assigning the development work to a software vendor, as well as those works needed to integrate the Platform into the European standard EDC (European Digital Credentials). On the other hand, the specifications for integration into the other major European standard EBSI (European Blockchain Services Integration) have been finalized, and progress has also been made in the provision of the infrastructures necessary for the project. Additionally, the modeling of the Use Cases that has been worked on is now at a point where it is easier to land them to the underlying solution given the degree of understanding of it.
That is why next Thursday, May 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. we will hold an Update and Next Steps session of the CertiDigital project aimed at all the partner universities that participate in the project. The objective of this session is twofold. On the one hand, to inform the partner universities about the status of the Project, and on the other, to present the team of the company awarded the first tender (CertiDigital EDC integration) and its vision of the project and the necessary support for the completion of the design and subsequent deployment of the use cases.

About CertiDigital: is an interuniversity project in collaborative mode in which 23 partner universities participate and which is funded by the EU within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan. (BOE 179, RD 641/2021) and NextGenEU funds. The objective of the project is the creation of the necessary infrastructures that allow the Spanish University System (SUE) to issue digital credentials aligned with the ongoing initiatives of the European Commission EDC (European Digital Credentials for Learning) and EBSI (European Blockchain Services Infrastructure).
